Tom joined Perspective in 2022 in admiration of our client-centric approach and values. Tom is excited about the direction we are moving in and is keen to be a part of that journey.

Tom read Financial Economics at university and developed a keen interest in economics and investments. After graduating he joined the graduate scheme of one of the UK’s largest investment management houses, Brewin Dolphin. He went on to enjoy a ten year career in the industry, latterly working with Walker Crips Group and Octopus Investments. He is now two years into his career in financial advice, having now also qualified as a Financial Planner.

Tom is currently a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) and a Diploma level member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Tom finds helping clients achieve their financial goals in life hugely rewarding.  Each day is different, and each client he speaks with has different priorities and ambitions.  He enjoys client interaction and getting to know them on a personal level.  Tom adopts a holistic approach to financial planning, and in doing so considers all aspects of a client’s personal circumstances and financial position to guide his advice.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing football and (fair weather) sailing when time permits.
