Derek joined Perspective (Home Counties) Ltd in 2011. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and has over 46 years of experience under his belt working in banking, insurance, and financial planning.
He is qualified to the Advanced Level of the Diploma and was awarded Chartered status in 2005. He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and holds specialist qualifications in Investment Management, Taxation, Trusts and Pension Planning. Having completed the R08 pension update exam, he is now a designated Retirement Planning Specialist.
Derek gets satisfaction from speaking with clients and from researching fund performance.
Outside of work Derek enjoys travelling, reading and politics.
